
The Scholarship Foundation
The Indiana Alpha Student Scholarship Foundation was founded in 1953 during the fundraising campaign that funded the construction of the Castle. The Foundation maintains the physical structure and provides scholarships to active members as well as non-member students at Indiana University.
Endowed Scholarship Awards
The foundation board manages the maintenance and improvements of the chapter house and scholarship foundation including maintaining relationships with the university, the national fraternity, businesses and Alumni.
The Donald Hilt Scholarship
The Donald Hilt Scholarship is a $1,000 awarded annually to an eligible Kelley School of Business Finance major who demonstrates an aptitude for finance and a dedication to leadership beyond the classroom. Don Hilt served as the Treasurer of the Indiana Alpha Housing Corporation for several decades, leaving a legacy of a strong commitment to the organization's advancement and the success of fellow Hoosiers.

The Fred S. Dunn Scholarship
The Fred S. Dunn Scholarship is a $2,000 scholarship, awarded $500 per year for 4-years. Eligible recipients of this award are incoming Direct Admission students to the Kelley School of Business demonstrating a high level of academic performance and strong leadership and involvement in activities. This award is endowed through the Indiana Alpha Student Scholarship foundation. Honoring Fred Dunn, a member of Indiana Alpha, graduating in 1965 and serving as Chapter Advisor for many years. Fred also served as Province President for many years, leading all Phi Delta Theta Chapters in Southern Indiana.
The John "Jay" Kelliher Scholarship
The John "Jay" Kelliher Scholarship is a $1,000 scholarship, awarded annually. Eligible recipients of this award are juniors or seniors pursuing a degree in Computer Science or Information Systems demonstrating academic excellence. This award is endowed through the Indiana Alpha Student Scholarship Foundation. Honoring the late Jay Kelliher, who spent four decades in an IBM mainframe environment, working on major projects in cities across the country and internationally.
